Typography Self Portrait

For this piece I had to choose an image of myself and recreate the photograph using only typography. I chose this specific image of myself because it captured my personality the best. I sketched it out before I used it as a template in Adobe Illustrator. Once it was into Illustrator, I used different words that describe myself or the fish in the image to create the picture. After that was all done, it was just in black and white. There wasn't a real wow factor, so I thought why not make it more symbolic of what is actually being shown. I finished it off, with changing the fish to orange along with my lips to orange as well to show that I was making a fish like face. To contrast against the orange I used a teal.
